How to create an invoice with this tool

  1. Add your business details. Upload your logo and enter your business name, email and address so the client knows exactly who is billing them.
  2. Enter your client's details. Use the billing name and address on record, not a personal nickname — accounts departments match invoices to purchase orders by exact name.
  3. Number the invoice. Use a sequential number such as INV-0001. Never reuse a number; it is what you and your client refer to when chasing payment.
  4. List the work. One line per deliverable, with quantity and rate. Vague single-line invoices are the most common reason a payment gets queried.
  5. Set terms and a due date. "Due on receipt" and "Net 30" are both normal; what matters is that a date appears on the page.
  6. Add payment instructions. Bank details, PayPal, Wise or Payoneer — whatever the client should use. Missing payment details delay more invoices than late work does.
  7. Download or print. The PDF is print-ready and uses real vector text, so it stays sharp and stays searchable. Attach it to an email from your own address.
  8. Need to change something later? Open History and reopen any of your last ten invoices to edit and download again.

What every professional invoice needs

At minimum: the word “Invoice”, a unique invoice number, the issue date, your details, the client's details, an itemised description of the work, the total due, and how to pay. If you are registered for VAT, GST or a local equivalent, your registration number and the tax amount must appear separately — use the tax label field to name it correctly for your country.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, no limit on how many invoices you create, and no paid upgrade.

Is my invoice data stored anywhere?

No. Everything is calculated in your browser and the PDF is built on your own device — nothing is uploaded to any server at any point. Your current draft and your recent invoices are kept in your own browser's local storage so you do not lose work; you can wipe them with the Reset button or Clear all in History.

Can I go back and edit an invoice I already made?

Yes. Your last ten invoices are saved on this device. Open History, pick one, and it loads straight back into the form ready to edit and download again — useful when a client asks for one line to change. Because they live in your browser and not on a server, they are private to you, and clearing your browser data removes them.

How do I send the invoice to my client?

Download the PDF and attach it to an email from your own address. An invoice that arrives from your real business email is far more likely to be trusted, opened and paid than one forwarded by a third-party sender.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Switch between the Edit and Preview tabs at the top on small screens.

Which currencies are supported?

Over thirty, including USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, AED, INR and BDT. Pick yours from the currency dropdown.
